...Strange how life throws you unexpected curve balls. Which may be a good thing.



As I'm getting nowhere fast in finding a job where I live (and my unemployment benefits are nearing exhaustion) my youngest sister has offered a place for me to stay down in the San Diego area, where I can try my luck there. I get to keep my kitties too, and she will ask for minimal payment later on down the line. (Once I get my shit together, I will surprise her with more money and a few lil' gifts, as I appreciate her offer - I don't want to be homeless). I understand that nothing is for free, ya' know? I really do appreciate the offer! So, I may be gone from my beloved Bay Area by October.



Yeah... the sis who got on my nerves all these years is the one who extends a hand out to me...I need to re-access my thoughts and beliefs regarding both sisters now.

I wish you luck. I lived in San Diego for years and only live where I am now because my parents were dying and now have passed. It is expensive in San Diego but not as much as the Bay Area but they have a great transit system there. Good luck with finding a job. They have quite a lot in the area of medical, telecommunication, and things like that. Qualcomm is big down there and there are jobs at the many universities. Again good luck ... You will like it there once you get use to the area change. I loved it and hated to leave.

There is a lot of this here. Many new people that think they should get high ratings for very little and when given a rating they don't deserve as it seems you did they come back and give a lower one to someone with a great profile. It makes no sense but then maybe the word "kids" makes sense to you :). You were kind with the 8. I wouldn't have been so kind, lol.

Damn...it's hot. I'm hatin' this. I'm wearing my glasses today, and they keep slipping from my nose - sweat has a lil' to do with it. I should switch back to the contacts.

I think I'll go write at my kitchen table, as the sun hasn't hit that side of the apartment yet.

Hell - break out the stovetop grill and throw on a couple of hot dogs and a burger before it gets even hotter.

Well - authorities in San Francisco think that they may have arrested the person who has been setting around 8-9 porta-potty fires - along with about a dozen cars - for the past 4-5 months.

Most people assumed that the culprit would be a young guy with a major fire fixation...NOT! The person they arrested doesn't fit the 'image' of an arsonist at all...it's a lil' old Chinese lady.
